- Civil/Structural/Architectural Designers are responsible for performing civil, structural and architectural design under the direct supervision of senior designers and engineers.
- Develop a good understanding and implementation of PDI CAD standards.
- Develop PDI CAD standards under direction of senior designers.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD 2D and 3D Design.
- Possess a basic understanding of civil and structural material specifications and construction techniques.
- Travel to site to assist in field work in industrial environments.
- Continue learning process by attending in-house seminars and continuing education opportunities outside of office.
- Develop working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Possess ability to follow directions from lead designers.
- Strong ethics and corporate loyalty.
- Must be results oriented and a team player.
- Associates degree completed or in process strongly desired or completed CAD certificate program
- Experience in an industrial chemical processing environment is a plus.
