Malvern Treatment Centers is currently seeking a full time Clinical Supervisor to be based at our Willow Grove location. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership to Counselors and Continuing Care Coordinators while ensuring the safety and well-being of the patient community. This role will also be assisting with day-to-day clinical operations in accordance with multidisciplinary treatment plan goals, organizational policies, and established procedures. The Clinical Supervisor collaborates closely with Clinical Services, Admissions, Nursing, and other departments to promote coordinated, effective, and patient-centered care. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Provides on-shift coordination among clinical, nursing, and medical staff to support continuity of care.
Works closely with Counselors, Continuing Care Coordinators, and the Residential Director who oversees and conducts safety checks for newly admitted patients, patients returning from pass, and other situations as needed.
Completes performance improvement activities and monthly measures for Counselors and Continuing Care Coordinators
Develops and manages staffing schedules for Counselors and Continuing Care Coordinators across all assigned shifts and populations, ensuring appropriate coverage and compliance with position control
Reviews and verifies employee timecards for accuracy and adherence to company policies to support timely and accurate payroll processing
Supports HR processes by participating in or initiating corrective action and disciplinary procedures involving Counselors and Continuing Care Coordinators, as appropriate.
Reviews admissions processes to help ensure quality, safety, and compliance during each shift.
Supports patients by providing information, guidance, and assistance in response to clinical and operational needs.
Ensures Counselors are in coordination with all disciplines, ensures support for individualized treatment goals and daily patient routines
Provides patient support through individual interactions, community meetings, lectures, and other clinical group activities.
Responds to and helps direct clinical treatment needs and emergency situations when necessary
Communicates clinical documentation expectations to staff to support ASAM criteria and other service requirements
Facilitates ongoing supervision, intern support, and staff re-education or training initiatives
Supports the onboarding and orientation of newly hired counselors
Performs other duties and provides shift coverage as assigned

Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
A master degree with a PA license from an accredited degree in human services, counseling, or a related field is required. A minimum of three years of clinical experience in addiction treatment is required.
Technical/Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Work Environment and Hazards
This position is primarily performed in an indoor environment and is generally protected from weather conditions. The role involves potential exposure to communicable diseases and possible interaction with intoxicated, disruptive, or agitated patients.
Physical Requirements
This position requires moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 40 pounds. The ability to hear and accurately perceive sounds is also required. This role is classified as essential personnel.
