Progression Gymnastics is growing, and we're looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals to join our coaching team. Whether you have gymnastics experience or simply enjoy working with children, we'd love to hear from you.
No gymnastics coaching experience? That's okay. The right attitude is more important than experience. We provide training and mentorship for individuals who are excited to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Teach Preschool and/or Recreational gymnastics classes for children of various ages.
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage children while helping them build confidence and develop new skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe class environment.
- Communicate professionally with families and fellow coaches.
- Follow lesson plans and coaching curriculum while providing a fun and engaging class experience.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Positive, energetic, and encouraging.
- Comfortable leading and interacting with groups of children.
- Professional with a willingness to learn and accept coaching.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Available to work weekday afternoons and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children in any setting.
- Gymnastics, dance, cheer, or other athletic experience is a plus, but not required.
- College coursework or experience in education, child development, kinesiology, nursing, or a related field is a plus.
