Wake Orthopaedics is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to join our team splitting time at our Cary, Apex and Brier Creek locations.
The Certified Hand Therapist will be able to:
· Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation of hand therapy services.
· Demonstrate essential skill competencies in the use of treat modalities, equipment, and protocols
· Adhere to company policy regarding timeliness and content of written evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries
· Effectively communicate with patients, family, medical staff, and supervisors
· Be motivated and capable of working independently and/or with other therapists
· Continually learn and perform best practices in caring for and treating patients
Requirements
Experience:
· Preferred: 3-5 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
Education:
· Degree in Occupational Therapy
Training/Certification
· Prefer CHT credential or be eligible to sit for CHT credentialing exams within 6-12 months of hiring
Licensure:
· NC state license preferred
