Occupational Therapist

Wake Orthopedics a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC is seeking two Occupational Therapist to fill our full-time Hand Therapist position, at our North Raleigh office. Our practices provide a full range of orthopaedic services including advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation of hand therapy services.
• Demonstrate essential skill competencies in the use of treat modalities, equipment, and protocols
• Adhere to company policy regarding timeliness and content of written evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries
• Effectively communicate with patients, family, medical staff, and managers
• Be motivated and capable of working independently and/or with other therapists
• Continually learn and perform best practices in caring for and treating patients

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• CHT Credentials preferred, must be eligible to sit for CHT credentialing exam within 6-12 months of hire
• NC State license
