Key Job Elements
- Conduct Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reviews and define submission requirements;
- Investigate and resolve supplier non-conformances using structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why);
- Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, and operations to develop supplier capability;
- Conduct supplier audits and coach suppliers on corrective actions and continuous improvement;
- Monitor and report supplier performance metrics;
- Support cost recovery and supplier development initiatives.
- Lead supplier audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AAR);
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
Qualifications And Experience
- 3-6 years working knowledge of technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering;
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes and principles;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience working with internal and external customers;
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft office, Outlook , ERP systems;
- Statistical analysis and quality assurance skills;
- Experience with CAT production system preferred;
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Six Sigma Black Belt;
- Green Belt Certification;
- Lean manufacturing & APQP experience;
- Metrology and statistical analysis skills;
- Bilingual communication skills.
