Key Job Elements
- Lead and coordinate daily activities for recycling mobile crews;
- Works with management to establish job priorities for recycling mobile crews;
- Conduct pre-shift safety briefings, toolbox talks, job hazard analyses, and site inspections;
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, environmental requirements, and applicable federal, state, and railroad regulations;
- Review plans, schedules, and equipment requirements before work begins and communicate clearly with crews and stakeholders;
- Coordinate mobilization between locations, including crws, vehicles, tools, safety equipment and heavy equipment;
- Track daily production by documenting railcars cut and scrap shipments;
- Track labor hours, equipment utilization, delays, safety observations and equipment inspections;
- Ensure crews maintain a professional job-site presence, including maintaining clean and safe equipment and vehicles;
- Manage order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications And Experience
Preferred Associate’s degree in business or supply chain
- Shows initiative and meets goals consistently;
- Must have a professional attitude and be dependable;
- Focused on customer needs;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Position requires frequent regional travel to suppliers and industrial sites;
- Must have valid driver’s license;
- Preferred OSHA certification;
- Preferred First-aid and CPR certification;
- Preferred Erail-safe certification.
