DEFINITION
Inside Sales Support (ISS) is responsible for generating revenue through sales activities such as cold calls and product training in both RV and Non-RV markets. As well as looking for opportunities to sell additional product to already established accounts. Responsible to help supporting sales team’s professional relationships and customer loyalty with both established and prospective accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will vary depending upon the level of assignment and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Generate Revenue through Tier 2, 3 & ATO (Auto, Trailer, Other) dealers and passing Tier 1 dealers onto SAR.
2. Contacting Tier 2, 3 & ATO active and perspective dealers.
3. Generate additional sales through Opportunities with active dealerships.
4. Catching spillover calls while SAR (ATO and RV) are traveling.
5. Help on calling and email campaigns.
6. Administrative activities such as order entry, warranties, RA’s and record keeping.
7. Support Territory Sales Plans (created by SAR).
8. Become proficient in the Griffin Hill sales system.
9. Keep accurate records of all activities (calls, emails, complaints, trainings, etc.).
10. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) for sales duties. Document all processes.
11. Establish relationships within both the RV & ATO industry.
12. Attend meetings as needed.
13. Weekly IP Report and Meeting with Inside Sales Manager.
14. Support Customer Service team. With in coming Calls, emails, and Chats
15. Support other members of sales/marketing team as needed.
16. Help with Special/Service projects when necessary
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Prior experience in sales and customer Service preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing company preferred. Automated Sales and contact management systems expertise.
Skills: Practical and theoretical knowledge of sales and marketing. Listening, speaking, and other communication skills required. Position requires being honest, professional, and teachable at all times. Employee should be punctual and dependable. Thorough understanding of product. Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Demonstrate expertise in the following software applications: Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and Acumatica.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 75 pounds. Required manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers,
fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office and/or clerical equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Typical Mental Demands: Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Must understand people from all walks of life and be able to communicate effectively with them.
Working Conditions: May require overnight travel. May require evening, weekend, or on-call hours
