The Role:
For our company, the Designer is everything. Knowledgeable of the latest trends and construction methods, highly skilled with design and pricing software, well-versed in sales strategies and communication techniques, detailed and analytic, empathetic and understanding, the Designer plans each element, both material and labor, of a remodeling project collaboratively with our potential clients. They sell and they sell well using proven methods while continuously improving their practice and knowledgebase. They grow their sphere of influence and market share by serving clients well throughout their home improvement projects. Although we’re not a “hard sale” type of company, we are most definitely looking for closers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Meeting with prospective customers both in the showroom and at customer’s home to provide products and services for their home improvement projects
- Creating realistic and accurate designs using 2020 design software
- Creating professional presentations/proposals to win the business of prospective customers
- Generating scope of work and material suggestions
- Providing coverage for the showroom during working hours
o Answering phone calls
o Greeting potential customers
o Selling material to walk-in customers
- Generating additional sales through relationships with contractors/interior designers
- Working cold leads (previous clients, walk-ins, etc.) to grow market share and expand sphere of influence
- Monitoring on-going projects with existing customers
- Providing high-level customer service with prospective, existing, and previous customers
- Coaching potential customers through the funding/financing process
- Ordering cabinetry, ensuring accuracy in all orders
- Attending training meetings, annual conferences, vendor presentations, and sales/production meetings
- Maintaining a positive and welcoming workspace and showroom
Schedule:
- Five days per week, Monday – Saturday with one weekday off (You pick the day off with Saturday Mandatory)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 50/50 Split
- Optional 401K, life insurance, disability insurance
- Competitive Training Salary ($1,500 biweekly base salary 3% Commission)
- Uncapped full commission after training period (5%)
- Bonus/Additional Pay opportunities in addition to full commission
- Sales incentives/ rewards for performance
- $150 per month to cover fuel costs

Pay: $60,000.00 - $174,000.00 per year
