What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Consultant position at Progress Industries?
The CQI/Therap and Safety Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the agency's overall quality through analysis of services for quality and compliance issues. Working collaboratively with the service teams, the CQI Specialists presents clear recommendations for improvement and provides follow-up and oversight on the corrective actions. This position may also be responsible for implementing new quality improvement processes. As Therap Specialist this position is responsible for a variety of back up duties when the primary Therap Administrator is unavailable. The Therap Administrators duties allow PI the use of Therap as our system of service documentation.
Develop, coordinates, safety, and loss control functions of the organization. Design and direct a program to reduce accidents, occupational illness, exposure to long-term health hazards and overall risk through safety initiatives for employees and persons served.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Of The CQI And Therap Specialist
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- One of the following
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences and one year post-degree experience in the delivery, planning, coordination or administration of human services
- A high school degree (or its equivalent) and five years post-degree experience i the social or behavior sciences.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and quick decision-making when the situation requires.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
- Possess "leadership ability" as it relates to supervision and training of staff.
- Ability to be creative and advocate when giving input to "program of training" for the person served.
- Maintain a valid Iowa Driver's License with a good driving record, and a private automobile used to carry out job duties. Hold adequate liability insurance (required: $100,000/$300,000/$50,000)..
