We are seeking a hands-on Thermal Testing Engineer to support the development and validation of next-generation data center networking products. The ideal candidate will have experience with thermal testing, lab setup, hardware assembly, and data analysis in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities- Assemble and bring up networking switch prototypes for thermal testing.
- Set up, maintain, and operate air-cooled and liquid-cooled thermal test benches.
- Perform temperature measurements, thermal characterization, and data collection.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Troubleshoot hardware, test setups, and instrumentation issues.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and system engineering teams to support product development.
- Support validation of thermal solutions and mechanical components.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of industry experience in thermal testing, thermal validation, or related engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with thermal measurements, instrumentation, and data acquisition.
- Experience assembling and troubleshooting hardware systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Knowledge of Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs), EMI gaskets, and mechanical material properties.
- Experience with thermal simulation tools such as FloTHERM.
- Familiarity with lab equipment including:
- Data loggers
- Thermal sensors
- Environmental chambers
- Temperature measurement systems
- Experience working in server, networking, or data center hardware environments.
