Title: Ping Fed Engineer
Location: Austin TX – onsite only
Duration: Full Time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Own onsite L3 support for PingFederate platform operations and escalations.
- Design, configure, and support SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Manage PingFederate as Authentication / Authorization Server for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Configure and support PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingID (adapters, policies, selectors, connections).
- Handle production incidents, problem management, RCA, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Manage certificate lifecycle (PKI) including renewal, import/export, and troubleshooting.
- Support environment administration across Dev / Test / Stage / Production, including upgrades and patching.
- Act as the onsite coordination point with client security teams and offshore IAM teams.
- Maintain runbooks, configurations, and operational documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of IAM experience with strong hands‑on expertise in PingFederate (L3/L4).
- Deep understanding of SSO, Federation, MFA, Tokens, and IAM protocols.
- Experience with PingID MFA and risk‑based authentication.
- Strong knowledge of PKI / certificate management.
- Experience with Active Directory / LDAP integrations.
- Proven experience in production support or managed services environments.
