What YOU you will be doing
- Responsibility to work with ACE (Achieving Customer Service) team as a Coordinator for the South Central Region.
- Apply scheduling, planning, and coordination activity to support product inbound and outbound operations.
- Give direction to delivery drivers and take direction from Leadership. Manage the day-to-day tasks and routes of the drivers for the store. Make sure routes are run efficiently and professionally.
- Understand and make sure processes are followed for pulling orders, delivering product, picking up purchase orders, securing loads, maintaining safety.
- Train delivery drivers. Ensure the deliveries are made professionally, with a focus on great customer service, and following required protocols of customers.
- Coordinate delivery routes dispatch drivers and monitor progress throughout day. Make sure all paperwork is returned by drivers and manifests filled out each day.
What WE need from YOU
- Delivery experience and/or warehouse experience, preferably in a distribution environment
- Experience supervising drivers or warehouse personnel strongly desired
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record required, pass annual drug tests, and maintain an acceptable background check in accordance with company and customer requirements and local laws/regulations.
- Maintain high quality of customer support in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner. Ability to handle customers and difficult situations.
- Good writing skills, general math skills, general mechanical skills, and strong communication skills. General computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to adapt and work in an ever changing, stress induced changing environment
