Surgical Technician candidates will have the following minimum job responsibilities:
- You will be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide assistance during surgical procedures performed in the department in the scrub role.
- You will be experienced in all aspects of aseptic technique, setting up the required equipment and sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases; pulling cases as needed; and breaking down cases at the end of the procedure.
- You may come in contact with medications and therefore must demonstrate an understanding of proper medication management and storage as well as maintaining a secure medication environment.
- You will act as a preceptor, resource, and mentor for new staff members, surgical technician students, and existing staff.
- Types of Services: Neuro, Ortho, CV, Vascular, Plastics, Robotics, General, Spine, Bariatrics, Hybrid OR, GYN, Urology

Surgical Technician candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Accredited Program Preferred: Surgical Technology or recognized course of training as a Surgical Technologist
- 1 year Preferred: Experience as a surgical technologist in a full-service operating room
- Required: Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs
- Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
- Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist
