REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER - EMERGENCY ROOM

, PermanentProgeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at our Emergency Room in Salem, VA. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Emergency Room and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a safe and efficient environment for our patients.Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the nursing staff in the Emergency Room, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of patient information- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement- Provide support and guidance to the nursing staff, including handling any issues or conflicts that may arise- Act as a liaison between the Emergency Room and other departments within the hospital- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, and implement changes as needed- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staffQualifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles and practices- Excellent leadership and communication skills- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions- Proficient in electronic medical record systems- BLS and ACLS certifications required, TNCC and ENPC preferredIf you are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding management opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
