REGISTERED NURSE DIRECTOR - EMERGENCY SERVICES

This includes managing a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality of care and efficiency of the emergency department- Manage and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care- Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including but not limited to HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission- Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and efficient use of resources- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance emergency services and promote the department- Oversee budget and resource allocation for the emergency department- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, implementing new processes and protocols as needed- Serve as a liaison between the emergency department and other hospital departments, as well as external agencies and organizations- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports related to the emergency department- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff membersQualifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred- Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing best practices, regulations, and standards of care- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills- Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems- Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call as neededWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
