What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drug & Alcohol Program Manager position at ProFrac Services?
Responsible for overall management of the DOT and Drug and Alcohol Program.
Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate all drug and alcohol testing from a centralized location to increase proficiency and accuracy in DOT testing procedures, i.e., post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and random testing.
Coordinate with all clinics and collection sites to ensure proper testing and collection techniques are in place along with proper notification of testing.
Set up a protocol with new collection facilities for the company’s requirements.
Monitor districts and clinics to ensure proper requests and tests are being followed.
Review customer requirements, policies, and procedures for contractor compliance.
Review quarterly statistics required by the US Department of Transportation.
Coordinate on-site alcohol tests and specimen collections for quarterly random tests as required by customers and the US Department of Transportation.
Direct contact with the Medical Review Officer (MRO) to ensure confidentiality with all drug tests.
Communicates positive test results or concerns to HR and appropriate leadership personnel to drive appropriate investigation and/or disciplinary action.
Maintain a secured file system to ensure confidentiality for all tests and results for drug and alcohol testing.
Maintain a file on all employees suspended or terminated for violation of company drug and alcohol policies, both the company's and US Department of Transportation.
Document and retain all conversations between the MRO, the employee, and management.
Provides education and training to districts to ensure regulatory compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
1-3 years of Drug & Alcohol related experience.
3-5 years of experience working for a Motor Carrier and/or in the oilfield services industry.
General knowledge of the FMCSA (DOT) regulations, CSA, drug/alcohol protocol, and/or other fleet management skills.
Travel may be required.
Maintains the confidentiality of employee records at all times
Must work independently and as a member of team.
Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.
Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
