Positions Summary: Instruct employees in the proper and efficient operation of ProFrac power generation equipment per ProFrac SOPs, policies, and industry best practices. Monitor performance and provide mentoring to experienced employees when needed. Ensure compliance with ProFrac SOPs, policies, and state or federal regulations. Compliance with ProFrac Career Advancement Program requirements, facilitating the progression of fellow employees. Help troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered on location or shop facilities. Provide mentoring to all classes of SSEs (New to company, new to the industry, and new to position) Essential Responsibilities: Compliance with all company safety policies and standard operating procedures Works rotational schedule, including long and irregular hours Compliance with all applicable electrical codes and regulations Monitor and mentor employees for performance improvement Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered on location or shop facilities. Assist in the development of training, SOPs, and policies Assist in the implementation of new tools, equipment, SOPs, and policies Ensure electricians are competent in the operations of the power generation equipment Must have strong communication with the training manager and power generation supervisors. Must be able to teach new and current employees on the use of various instruments such as multi-meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes. Must be able to demonstrate the proper use of wiring techniques for 12 volt DC, 24 volt DC, 120 volt AC/DC, 240 volt AC, 480 volt AC, 600 volt AC and 13.8 kV single and three-phase. Assist Turbine Tech trainers as needed Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a Journeyman Electrician License issued by the state of the district recruiting for the opening. In the absence of a license, must have a minimum number of hours required by the state in electrical work and classroom instruction that would be necessary to obtain the license Satisfactory driver’s motor vehicle record (MVR) required. Up to 50% Travel required. Ability to work overtime on occasion. IADC RigPass/PEC Certified or ability to obtain. Mobile/overhead crane and signal/rigging certifications preferred but not required Field and classroom facilitation experience is a plus. Sensitive to confidential information. Must work independently and as a member of team. Must be proficient at operating and understanding electrical and power generation equipment utilized in the fracturing process. Strong computer skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Able to read, speak and write English. Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions. Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload. Able to work under stressful conditions at times. Communication - phone communication, communication with personnel and vendors. Seeing - able to see the computer screen. Climbing – able to go up, down and over equipment in a safe manner using good judgment and proper safety equipment as required. Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week with frequent extended hours required based on workload requirements. Position will require (24) twenty-four hours availability, with (7) seven-day weeks when workload requires, with time off scheduled per current workload.
