Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op, responsible for providing specialized post-operative recovery care.
Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs and anesthesia recovery, administer medications, ensure patient safety and comfort, document care, respond to emergencies, develop discharge instructions, collaborate with surgical teams, operate PACU equipment, and participate in handoff communications.
Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent PACU RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS and ACLS certifications; preferred PALS/ENPC certifications. Must possess critical thinking, effective communication, physical strength, motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to work under pressure.
