Registered Nurse - PICU - Days

Position Overview: This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a 16-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with a focus on family-centered care. The nurse will work full-time hours, including rotating weekends and holidays, in Naperville, IL, from 7 am to 7:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to pediatric patients in a PICU setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Support family involvement and education during hospitalization.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred if Associate Degree is held.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification within three months of hire.
• Preferred: 2 years of Pediatric PICU RN experience.
