Role: PACU Nurse in a 35-bay recovery unit supporting the Operating Room, caring for diverse inpatient and outpatient patients across all service lines in a level 1 trauma center.
Responsibilities: Provide post-anesthesia care, ensure patient safety, monitor recovery progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Participate in patient education and ensure smooth transitions from surgery to recovery.
Qualifications: Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont, ADN required (BSN preferred). Relevant clinical experience in critical care or PACU preferred.
Skills: Critical thinking, strong communication, ability to manage multiple patients, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements: On-call availability.
