- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify student deficits in fine motor skills and other areas.
- Develop and implement individualized goals and treatment plans aligned with IEP requirements.
- Coordinate with educational staff, parents, and health professionals, participating in staffing and IEP conferences.
- Schedule and deliver therapy sessions, monitor progress, and prepare progress reports.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, paraprofessionals, or other staff involved in student care.
- Utilize electronic systems for data collection, reporting, and billing, including Medicaid where applicable.
- Ensure practice adherence to Florida regulations and standards.
- Valid Florida certification and professional license in Occupational Therapy.
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience, or a high school diploma with extensive experience.
