Med Care Manager

Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents in a senior living setting, ensuring safety, accuracy, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes, observing for symptoms and administering medications for relief
• Report any refusals or health concerns promptly
• Conduct narcotic counts and maintain organized medication rooms and carts
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to prevent medication errors and protect resident health
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience in senior care preferred
