Responsibilities
- Applies radiologic principles, choosing appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans adhering to hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold patient care standards.
- Achieves assigned goals efficiently.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting all competency requirements.
- Certification by ARRT(R) or RCIS, with BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills required; ARRT(VI) registration preferred.
- Licensing as required by state; new graduates must obtain registry within 60 days.
