Job Title: Program Supervisor Level 1
Job Summary/Overview:
- The Level 1 Program Supervisor position is designed for Master’s-level students who are pursuing BCBA certification and are in the first half of their graduate coursework. This role provides specialized behavioral intervention services and delivers mid-level supervision to children with autism spectrum disorder, under the ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to Clinic Manager (BCBA), Supervising BCBA, and/or Director of Clinical Services
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists the Supervising Behavior Analyst with assessments, treatment planning, behavior support plans, and progress reports.
- Provides mid-level clinical supervision and coaching to Behavior Technicians, including overlapping sessions, and performance feedback for ongoing cases.
- Supports training, onboarding, and professional development of Behavior Technicians; assist with performance reviews as directed.
- Collects, analyzes, and reviews clinical data and documentation; update treatment programs to reflect client progress and goals.
- Conducts regular caregiver meetings to review progress, provide parent coaching, and address treatment implementation.
- Ensures services are delivered in alignment with authorizations, funding requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Maintains accurate HIPAA-compliant documentation of services provided
- Meets established billable hours and productivity expectations (i.e., minimum of 50% billable hours). These hours may include being assigned to a caseload as an RBT.
- Steps in as a substitute RBT for scheduled sessions when other technicians are unavailable
- Participates in required meetings, trainings, and additional duties as assigned.
- Delivers therapy services aligned with competency-based evaluations.
- Collaborates with other service providers (e.g., Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, etc) Abide by the policies outlined in the A.G.E.S. Learning Solutions, LLC’s Employee Handbook.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Actively enrolled in a Master’s program through a qualified institution as defined by the BACB.
- Previous experience providing ABA therapy across multiple clients
- Strong flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills
- Ability to follow clinical direction and work collaboratively with a team
- Travel and Transportation: Ability to travel to multiple work sites and client homes, with reliable transportation required.
- Safety and Health: Must pass health screenings, including TB testing, and obtain required vaccination (if requested)
- Background Check: Must clear criminal record checks and Child Abuse Registry check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the clinic
- Must be comfortable spending significant time on their feet.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds if required
- Ability to engage in active play and therapy activities with clients
Work Environment:
- Primary location is clinic-based, but may include sessions in homes/daycares/schools as needed
- Schedule may vary depending on client and staffing needs
- Consistent availability during clinic operating hours (eg Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm) is required
