Role Description
This is a part-time role located in Tampa, FL, with opportunities to work from home periodically. As an Apprentice in Corrective Posture Therapy, you will learn about muscle and bone interactions, assist with developing personalized postural correction plans, deliver therapeutic exercises under supervision, and educate clients about proper ergonomics. Responsibilities include assessing postural imbalances, maintaining detailed client records, and providing ongoing support to clients to track their progress. Collaboration with therapists and continuous learning about corrective posture methods are integral parts of this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in anatomy, kinesiology, and therapeutic techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and education
- Ability to manage client documentation and maintain accurate records
- Experience or interest in wellness, healthcare, and body mechanics
- Willingness to learn and adapt to innovative postural correction methodologies
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings
- Background in health-related fields a certifications in fitness, physical therapy, or similar disciplines is a plus
