Job Description:
Professional Transmission & Converter is looking for a dependable General Machine Shop Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with a variety of manual machines and support daily shop operations. Training is available for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, saws, and polishing equipment
- Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Ensure high quality and accuracy of machined parts
- Perform basic machine maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and shop procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a machine shop environment preferred
- Familiarity with machining tools and precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Compensation:
- $20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
