What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Assistant / Window Tint Trainee (Paid Training) position at Professional Tinting & Graphix?
Professional Tinting & Graphics, a family-owned business serving Florence since 1989, is hiring 1–2 motivated individuals to train in automotive window tinting while assisting with daily shop operations and commercial projects.
This is a hands-on position that includes customer interaction, learning a skilled trade, and working both in-shop and occasionally on-site for commercial jobs.
No prior tinting experience is required — we are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Answer incoming calls and schedule customer appointments
- Greet customers and assist with check-in
- Help prep vehicles for window tinting (cleaning, setup, organization)
- Learn and assist with professional window tint installation (training provided)
- Assist with vinyl graphics and lettering installation (vehicles, including fleet trucks, storefronts, etc.)
- Occasionally travel locally to residential and commercial job sites to assist with window film installation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
