Job Summary:
Clinical schedulers are responsible for their individual clinics daily schedule.
Job Description:
This position may be filled by a Full Time Hourly Employee.
Essential Functions:
Essential functions of the job may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensuring Schedule is up to date and accurate using online scheduling program.
- Finding coverage for therapist callouts/time requests off and scheduling needs
- Rescheduling appointments that were canceled.
- Scheduling new evaluations and ensuring evaluation log is updated.
- Ensuring parent portal paperwork is complete and updated as needed.
- Scheduling and block booking recurring sessions with the parent and adjusting as needed.
- Creating positive relationships with families while serving as the liaison between them and the clinic.
- Answering and Placing phone calls.
- Writing and Responding to emails.
- Completing data input accurately and reporting statistics to the clinic managers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, staff, administration and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally via telephone and email.
- Must have the proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
- Thorough knowledge of using google applications such as google docs and google sheets.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of outpatient therapy.
- Ability to deliver and articulate clearly to parents and other staff members.
- Ability to effectively analyze needs and problems objectively.
- Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total clinics program.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift, move and/or support up to 50 pounds.
Directly Reporting To:
Patient Services Manager and Clinic Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
