What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Solar CAD Designer position at Professional Staffing Ventures?

Commercial Solar CAD DesignerSpecific ResponsibilitiesDesign and/or revise residential plan sets for photovoltaic and battery systems utilizing CAD. Plan sets include electrical schematics, structural details, and equipment specifications. System installations may include commercial projects.Meet design department production goals and timelines.Work with building departments, utilities, or other AHJ to ensure compliance with local and national codes.Knowledge of electrical design, theory and concepts.Work with and provide technical assistance to designers, estimators, customers, and other divisions to acquire accurate information.Maintain current knowledge of the NEC and all building codes applicable for proper solar system design.Able to work in a team environment.Knowledge of commercial construction.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsPreferred BS in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering, or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 2-3 years commercial solar CAD experience.Well versed in Microsoft Office and Auto CAD.Knowledge of residential and commercial solar and battery systems and design.Knowledge of electrical design theory and concepts.Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Previous management experience.Must be self-driven, highly motivated. Must be goal and task oriented.Team player with a great attitude.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
