Computer Technician (Short-Term Hospital Technology Upgrade)

Professional Staffing Services is seeking motivated, reliable Computer Technicians for a high-priority technology upgrade project across several hospital facilities in Central Florida. This is a fast-paced, fixed-term assignment where you will work alongside local IT departments to ensure a seamless transition for healthcare staff.

Project Overview

• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
• Duration: Monday, April 6, 2026 - Monday, April 27, 2026
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Locations: Multi-site travel required (Tampa, Ocala, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, Riverview, Tarpon Springs, Davenport, Land O' Lakes, Sebring, Dade City, Lake Wales, and Palm Harbor).
• Perks: Full Mileage Reimbursement for travel between facilities.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as an extension of the hospital's internal IT team. Primary duties include:

• Workstation Setup: Deploying and configuring hardware, peripherals, and mounting equipment in clinical and administrative areas.
• Imaging: Executing OS deployment and software imaging on new and existing computer systems.
• Ticket Resolution: Addressing and closing technical support tickets related to the upgrade.
• Vendor Escorting: Safely guiding IT-related vendors to designated areas within the hospital facilities.
• General Support: Assisting local IT staff with hardware migration and troubleshooting as needed.

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on technical support experience.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience with computer imaging and hardware deployment.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to travel between all listed facility locations.
• Commitment: No time off will be permitted during the project window (April 6 - April 27).

To work within the hospital environment, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Ability to pass a comprehensive Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Completion of required Medical Titers/Labs (immunization records/bloodwork) to ensure safety in clinical areas.
