What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Professional Sports Publications?
We are seeking an Inside Advertising Sales Representative to sell print and digital advertising to business owners and marketing executives throughout the United States. Our advertising appears in official sports programs, yearbooks, and digital media for more than 100 professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, as well as over 500 college athletic programs nationwide. This is a business-to-business (B2B) inside sales position focused on building relationships with executives and decision-makers over the phone.
Compensation & Benefits
Our Inside Sales Representatives receive starting annual compensation of $70,000, with uncapped commissions that allow top performers to earn substantially more.

Key Responsibilities
- Sell advertising space and marketing solutions via phone and virtual meetings
- Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound sales calls
- Build rapport and long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Present advertising options clearly, confidently, and professionally
- Close new business and upsell existing clients
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity in the CRM system
- Relationship Building
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and phone presence
- Comfortable conducting business entirely over the phone and online
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, inside sales environment
