Regional Safety ProfessionalSouthern California, Arizona, Texas, and New MexicoJoin Our Team!Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee the safety of overhead Distribution, overhead Transmission, and substation projects in the region of Southern California, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico.ExpectationsHealth and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop a safety culture supporting the goal and daily mission of “making safety simple but no simpler” in the course of any work performed by our clientele.Requirements1-3 years of experience as a titled Safety Professional.Bachelor's degree in Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.Be able to identify and communicate Critical Observable Actions associated with above and below ground distribution high voltage utility work.Discuss Opportunities of Improvements with contractor crews.Write high-quality observation reports on near misses and incidents.Research contractor safety documentation and become a Subject Matter Expert.Proficient in technical writing and reporting.Proficient in the use of Google Suites (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, etc).Strong time management skills, punctuality, and reliability. Ability to operate individually and as a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.CPR/First Aid CertifiedKnowledge of Local 47 RedBook and OSHA 1910.269 - Electric power generation, transmission, and distribution.Knowledge of CAL OSHA Title 8 High-Voltage Electrical Safety Orders requirements.OSHA 30 Hour or similar.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in adverse conditions (I.e. dust, rain, heat, & cold)Ability to bend and/or squat repeatedlyOur CompanyProfessional Safety Solutions, LLC, (ProSafe) headquartered in San Diego, CA, is a safety consulting and staffing firm that combines deep industry knowledge with fresh innovative thinking. Salary : $64,000 - $97,500
