Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
Positions Available: Full-Time & Part-Time
Schedule: Weekend availability is required

Position Overview

Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at The Mall at Wellington Green.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people and take pride in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible and professional security presence.
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, security concerns, safety hazards, and emergency situations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Contact police, fire, or EMS when necessary and assist first responders.
• Enforce property rules and regulations professionally and respectfully.
• Assist guests and tenants with directions and other customer service needs.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Operate radios, mobile devices, and other security-related equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by site leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Basic computer and report-writing skills.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid Florida Class D Security Officer License.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-service driven.
• Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening.
• Must remain free from illegal drug use.
• Must represent PSC with integrity, professionalism, and respect.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
