This is a position responsible for guiding the project through all phases—from planning and design to implementation, testing, and go-live—while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare technology management.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the Infor ERP implementation, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between IT leadership, Infor implementation partners, hospital administration, departmental stakeholders, and end users.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor activities, deliverables, and SLAs, ensuring tight integration between third-party consultants, internal IT teams, and the business.
- Scope and Change Control: Define and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables; establish and enforce change control processes.
- Communication: Develop and maintain detailed project documentation—including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and executive-level summaries.
- Business Process Alignment: Work closely with finance, HR, supply chain, and clinical leaders to ensure that Infor modules support and enhance hospital operations.
- Testing and Training: Oversee system testing, data migration, user acceptance, and post-implementation support plans; coordinate user training and knowledge transfer.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure that project activities align with healthcare IT standards, data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and internal governance policies.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 7 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the healthcare or hospital IT environment.
- Proven hands-on experience leading Infor ERP or comparable ERP implementations (such as Workday, Oracle, or SAP).
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial management, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
Preferred:
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite, Infor Financials & Supply Management (FSM), or Infor Lawson.
- Experience in data migration and system integration within hospital systems (e.g., EHR/EMR interfaces).
- Master’s degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, or Business.
Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
