Correspondent Quality Auditor
San Diego, CA (Onsite) | $25/hr | 1-Year Contract
Professional Search Group is partnering with a leading mortgage client to hire a Correspondent Quality Auditor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mortgage quality control or loan processing experience who has a strong understanding of TRID and enjoys working in a detail-oriented, compliance-focused environment.
This position begins onsite and has the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule after training based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality reviews of correspondent mortgage loan files
- Ensure loan files comply with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Identify documentation discrepancies and compliance issues prior to funding
- Review approximately 7–8 loan files per day while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve file deficiencies
- Document findings and maintain quality standards
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of mortgage industry experience
- Working knowledge of TRID (required)
- Experience with ComplianceEase or similar mortgage compliance software
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Position Details
- Location: San Diego, CA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Pay: $25.00/hour
- Duration: 1-year contract with potential for extension or conversion
- Initially 100% onsite with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after training
