Professional Search Group – OC has partnered with a growing real estate lending firm to find a Director of Marketing, Real Estate Lending.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Marketing, Real Estate Lending, who will collaborate closely with Loan Originators and lead marketing programs that attract real estate builders, developers, and investors. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing compelling messaging that differentiates the firm in the market and translating these insights into thought leadership, newsletters, social media, and other digital communications. This role will execute targeted campaigns that increase awareness of services across geographic markets and resonate with experienced real estate professionals. Additionally, the role will support the Origination team with sales enablement, providing high-impact marketing collateral, conference support, and personalized client engagement strategies to enhance deal flow and strengthen relationships.
The ideal candidate has experience in real estate or financial services, is a strategic thinker, and has a hands-on approach to execution. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Loan Originators to create targeted marketing campaigns supporting business development in current and new geographic markets.
- Develop and manage content for thought leadership, newsletters, social media, and other digital communications.
- Execute conference marketing strategies, ensuring strong brand visibility and engagement at industry events.
- Provide sales enablement support with marketing collateral, data, and reporting.
- Enhance client engagement and loyalty through tailored, high-touch marketing efforts.
- Oversee social media presence for the lending business, crafting compelling posts that showcase expertise and lending solutions.
Education and Experience
- Degree from a four-year college or university in Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7 years of marketing experience, preferably in real estate or financial services.
- Strong content creation skills, including thought leadership, newsletters, social media, and digital communications.
- Ability to work closely with sales teams to drive business growth.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
- Exceptional business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to optimize processes creatively and efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- This LA-based position requires in-office work two (2) or more days per week to ensure close alignment among team members.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
