Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing insurance claims, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and insurance companies to ensure all state requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process insurance claims efficiently to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Provide expert guidance on state-specific code requirements to clients and insurance providers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify market opportunities and support business growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state building codes and insurance regulations to better serve clients.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, construction management, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in insurance, claims management, construction, or a customer service–focused role preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear, professional interaction with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex claim situations.
- Customer-focused approach, maintaining professionalism and empathy in high-stress situations.
- Comfortable using basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM platforms or project management tools such as AccuLynx is a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
