Assistant Manager/Leasing

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, including conducting property tours and explaining lease terms clearly and confidently
• Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, renewals, and tenant files using property management software such as AppFolio
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep aligns with tenant expectations and regulatory standards
• Assist prospective tenants with application procedures and make sure they meet all qualifications.
• Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
• Resolve tenant concerns promptly through effective conflict management and excellent customer service skills
• Support marketing efforts by upselling available units and fostering strong customer relationships to increase occupancy rates

Requirements

• Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property management software such AppFolio
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations
• Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
• Demonstrated experience in sales, upselling techniques, and client relationship management within the property
• Office experience involving data entry, filing, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and general administrative support
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
