Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. You’ve got the basics down, and now you’re looking for a place where you can refine your skills, take on more responsibility, and work toward your Journeyman license. The ideal candidate is someone who shows up early, asks the right questions, and takes pride in a clean soldering joint. Key Responsibilities Support & Execution: Assist Journeyman plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems. Technical Tasks: Cut, thread, and bend pipes; assemble and install valves and fittings; and assist with rough-ins and trim-outs. Troubleshooting: Help diagnose plumbing issues and identify necessary parts or equipment for repairs. Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring tools are organized and debris is cleared. Client Interaction: Represent the company professionally when communicating with homeowners or contractors. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the plumbing trade (fieldwork or vocational training). Tools: Basic understanding of plumbing tools (pipe wrenches, torches, cutters, and PEX, sewer tools etc... Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in tight spaces (crawlspaces/attics), and stand for long periods. License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Compliance: Basic knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety protocols (OSHA). Professional Traits (The "Must-Haves") Reliability: You show up on time, every time. In this trade, "on time" is 5 minutes early. Coachability: You take feedback well and don't make the same mistake twice.
