- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions and aseptic compounding
- Manage medication intake, verification, and documentation accurately within electronic health records
- Support patient service activities by answering questions and providing medication information under supervision
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, including medication administration and infection control procedures
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment adhering to aseptic techniques during medication preparation
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate timely medication delivery and patient care coordination
- Follow all safety guidelines related to acute care, critical care, and long-term care pharmacy operations
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacy technician license required; certification preferred
