We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide high-quality behavioral health care services at the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide high-quality behavioral health care services at the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point. Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in social work (MSW)
- Accreditation: Graduate of a CSWE-accredited School of Social Work
- License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW

Experience: Must meet clinical competency requirements as outlined by Service-specific credentialing instructions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of clinical social work services within scope of licensure.
- Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and safety planning.
- Conduct independent psychosocial assessments for diverse patient populations.
- Formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
- Utilize mental health diagnoses and treatment procedures, including for acute and chronic conditions.
- Coordinate and refer patients to appropriate community and government resources.
- Participate in peer reviews, case conferences, and relevant research studies. Offer consultation to medical staff regarding the psychosocial needs and support plans for patients.
