Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing mortgage team in Goodyear, Arizona. This is a critical role supporting Loan Officers throughout the mortgage process, from application through closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple active loan files in a fast paced environment.
This is not an entry level position. We are looking for someone with a strong mortgage operations background who understands loan documentation, timelines, borrower communication, and file management in a broker and/or correspondent lending environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage loan files from application through closing
• Prepare, send, and track disclosures
• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness
• Collect, organize, and verify borrower documentation
• Order and coordinate appraisals, title work, insurance, VOEs, and other third party services
• Track loan milestones and ensure deadlines are met
• Work closely with Loan Officers, Processors, borrowers, real estate agents, and vendors
• Manage conditions and documentation requests throughout the loan process
• Maintain accurate records within the loan origination system
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the transaction
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of mortgage experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, Processor, or similar mortgage operations role
• Experience working in a broker and/or correspondent lending environment
• Strong understanding of residential mortgage loan documentation and processes
• Ability to manage multiple active loan files simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team oriented mindset
• Ability to commute daily to Goodyear for a full time in office position
Preferred Qualifications
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator license or currently working toward obtaining licensure
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• Experience with ARIVE or similar loan origination systems
