Vice President of Operations – Vascular Access (RN – PICC & Midline Experience Required)

Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating on-call support

We are a growing Mobile Vascular Access Service providing PICC and Midline insertions to hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient healthcare providers. Our mission is to deliver timely, high-quality vascular access services while supporting healthcare facilities with reliable clinical coverage.
We are seeking an experienced Vascular Access Nurse Leader to serve as our Vice President of Operations. This role combines clinical vascular access expertise with operational leadership, ensuring efficient staffing, timely response to referrals, and reliable service coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the mobile vascular access service
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate clinical coverage
- Coordinate coverage for call-offs, PTO, and staffing gaps
- Ensure timely response to referrals and service requests
- Serve as the primary operational contact for client healthcare facilities
- Coordinate case assignments, travel logistics, and operational resources
- Monitor response times and service performance metrics
- Assist with urgent referrals and after-hours coverage coordination when needed
- Provide clinical support including PICC line and Midline catheter insertions as needed
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience inserting PICC lines and Midline catheters
- Minimum 3 years of vascular access or related clinical experience
- Leadership, supervisory, or operations experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to healthcare facilities within the service area
Preferred Qualifications
- Vascular Access certification (VA-BC) preferred
- Experience working in mobile or multi-facility healthcare services
