Receptionist responsibilities
- Welcoming visitors and directing them to the person or office they are visiting
- Scheduling appointments and following up with clients
- Handling queries and via phone, email, and general correspondence
- Taking messages and ensuring they are passed to the appropriate staff member in time
- Receiving, sorting, distributing, and dispatching daily mail
- Handling printing, photocopying, and faxing
- Managing office inventory supplies
- Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area
Receptionist skills and qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office and typing
- Excellent communication
- Organized and resourceful
- Customer-focused
- Active listener
- Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking
- Ability to handle office equipment (e.g., the telephone system, printer, and fax machine)

- Monday – Friday - Flexible part time hours
