Water Meter Installer

We’re seeking self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, take pride in quality work, and want to be part of a professional, safety-focused team. This is a 1-year project-based position with the potential for continued work on other PMI projects across the U.S. for those willing to travel.

Position Details:

· Pay: $50.46/hour

· Schedule: 40 hours per week

· Type: Full-time, Temporary (1-Year Project Assignment)

· Location: Monterey Park, CA

· Future Opportunities: Option to travel to other PMI projects after completion

· Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

· Remove and replace existing water meter registers and transmitters

· Collect and validate installation data using a company-provided handheld app

· Perform light software/hardware updates as required

· Interact professionally with residents when needed

· Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and equipment

· Ensure safety, accuracy, and professionalism in all assigned work

· Report progress daily and communicate with Field Managers and Team Leads

Requirements:

· Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

· Mechanically inclined and able to learn quickly (training provided)

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be insurable)

· Ability to travel to and from the work yard to pick up company vehicle

· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

· Dependable with strong communication and customer service skills

· Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

· High school diploma or GED required

· Comfortable using Bluetooth/wireless devices and basic technology

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to walk, climb, and stoop for extended periods (up to 10 hours/day)

· Capable of working outdoors year-round in various conditions
