Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Plumbing Project Manager to oversee and coordinate plumbing projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing plumbing installations and larger repair projects while ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, field technicians, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage plumbing projects from initial scope and estimate through completion and closeout.
  • Coordinate scheduling, materials, permits, inspections, and subcontractors as needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with plumbing technicians, installers, and office staff to ensure project expectations are clearly communicated.
  • Review job scopes, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and labor to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Conduct site visits to verify work quality, safety compliance, and progress.
  • Resolve project challenges, change orders, and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with local and state codes and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, notes, and updates in company systems.
  • Support cross-department coordination with HVAC, electrical, insulation, and drain teams when applicable.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing license or trade experience preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in plumbing, construction, or project management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems and workflows.
  • Experience managing schedules, labor, materials, and project budgets.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management or field service software is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to occasionally visit job sites, including climbing ladders, navigating basements, crawlspaces, and uneven terrain.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move between job sites for extended periods.
