Professional K-9 Solutions is a dog training business dedicated to helping both dogs, and their owners navigate the challenges of life. Dog training is more than teaching a dog to sit, stay, lay down, and come. Dog training is about leadership and relationships. We keep everything super simple and easy to understand. Our primary goal is to help people, and by doing this, we help dogs.
We are looking for the right person to join our team. We pride ourselves in maintaining a clean, safe, calm, quiet, peaceful environment for the dogs, clients, and staff. This is an entry level position that will allow you to learn dog care, dog handling, and proper dog training.
Our hours of operation are between 7:30am-6pm Sunday-Saturday.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for daily dog let out
- Responsible for feeding
- Cleaning kennels
- Cleaning and maintaining outside runs
- Cleaning training areas
- General cleaning of the facility as a whole
- Some dog bathing
- Some grooming such as brushing and nail trims
- Responsible for daily training
- Responsible for structured daycare and structured boarding dogs
- Responsible for communication with clients through our client portal
- Responsible for Private sessions, Go Home Sessions, Turnovers, and Follow up Sessions
Requirements to Succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Professional references
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend availability
- Willing to follow protocols and procedures
- Being able to closely follow schedules
- Must have a positive attitude and calm nature

If you have ever wondered what the ins and outs of a training facility is this is the perfect position for you! If you want to come play with dogs, this isn't the job for you. Although we do have structured play times, however, all of the dogs we train are with us for behavior issues. We have strict protocols in place to make sure these pups go home much better than they came in.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
