**Project Manager - Construction****Position Overview:**We are a well-established Real Estate Development Company and General Contractor expanding our team. We seek a **Senior Project Manager** with expertise in commercial construction to oversee the development of new retail plazas and remodel existing ones. This role encompasses the entire process from construction bidding to store openings.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Project Leadership:** Direct multiple construction projects, managing field superintendents, and sub-contractors, planning, budgeting, and quality control. You will qualify and oversee subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants, ensuring they stay on schedule and meet accountability standards.- **Contract Management:** Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all construction-related contracts, including leases and landlord agreements. Ensure compliance with landlord obligations and key deadlines while proactively assessing potential risks.- **Schedule Management:** Track project timelines based on defined plans, providing timely and accurate updates on progress.**Qualifications:**- **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years in retail construction management.- **Skills:**- Proficient in project management and reading construction plans.- Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities.- Knowledgeable about building codes, ADA, and federal/state regulations.- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proven leadership and management capabilities.- Strong ability to develop relationships with vendors and suppliers.- **References:** Must provide verifiable current references.**Compensation:**Top pay will be offered, commensurate with relevant experience.Join us to help create high-quality, timely retail spaces that meet and exceed our project goals!
