Role Description
As a Sales Associate, you will drive new business development by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and executing personal sales strategies to meet revenue targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing proposals, delivering product presentations, and maintaining a strong client portfolio. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client satisfaction and the delivery of tailored health solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages assigned and self-developed prospects and implements effective strategies to maximize customer development
- Use a consultative approach to selling our services new partners
- Design and sell medical screening programs that are efficient and adhere to the guidelines established for staff operational requirements
- Develop and maintain lasting client relationships with customers to assure compliance with customer and contract requirements
- Participate in regular account reviews to ensure relevance and impact of key account strategies
- Represent PHS with the highest degree of integrity
- Consistently fill your pipeline through prospecting and networking efforts
- Establish and nurture strategic alliances through networking
- Manage multiple priorities of current client maintenance, prospecting, quoting, and closing new accounts
- Collaborate with our internal teams of operations personnel, customer service and IT staff by providing detailed relevant information enabling each internal discipline to successfully fulfill their responsibilities, including the successful implementation, scheduling and administration of a client’s program
- When necessary assist the above personnel with operational issues when they arise
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience selling in a highly competitive business to business sales environment
- Have the ability to multi-task, fulfilling the needs of an extensive ongoing, growing and changing book or prospects to convert to business
- Experience selling to government agencies and members of our nation’s public safety sector, helpful, but not necessary
- College degree required
- Highly motivated and self-directed individual with strong interpersonal skill
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Must have sound computer skills with a proficiency in Excel, Word, with extensive experience utilizing a CRM to manage sales tasks and activities.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five years of experience in business-to-business sales
- Proven ability to establish, sustain, influence relationships and decision making prospects
- Experienced at listening to customer needs, interpret those needs into a requirement set, and creatively deliver a service solution
